🔥HOT TIPS🔥The high temperatures across Suffolk often cause plastic (uPVC) doors to expand, misaligning latches and locking mechanisms. ☀🚪Heat makes wood, uPVC, and metal expand slightly. Even a fraction of a millimetre can misalign the latch and the strike plate. This may cause the door to scrape the floor or stick in the frame, putting pressure on the lock cylinder. Do not force it as forcing a stiff handle, or turning a key too hard, can break the internal gearbox. Try lifting the handle or pushing the door firmly while turning the key to fix the alignment and spray a little silicone or graphite lubricant into the mechanism to reduce any friction. 🔑🧰If all else fails give us a call 🚨01394 388131🚨...#emergencylocksmiths #MobileLocksmith #suffolk ...
